OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

SARAH WILHELM GARBERS

Our new Executive Director, Sara Wilhelm Garbers, takes the helm of the Westminster Town Hall Forum on September 2, 2025. She is an excellent fit for the Forum—having earned a doctorate degree in philosophy with a focus on ethics from Loyola University in Chicago.

Sara comes to us from St. David’s Center where she served as Donor Relations Manager. There she and others on the community relations team were responsible for building new relationships as a part of an upcoming $30 million fundraising campaign.

She has a long history of civic engagement within her profession—having held a variety of positions across several sectors—colleges, universities, non-profits, and churches—and is especially excited to be part of building new audiences for the Forum. As a teenager, she first heard the Forum broadcast over MPR, and that experience among others helped shaped her passion for the field of ethics.

Sara describes herself as a “fund and friendraiser, administrator, event and program leader, and ethical thought leader,” emphasizing that “ethics matter, and in this moment, they are profoundly vital for the flourishing of our lives, our communities, our institutions, and our democracy.”

While Sara also holds a Master of Divinity and has served in a ministerial capacity, she fully embraces her secular role as the Forum’s new leader. Please look for her during Forums and introduce yourself!
