About Marcus Borg
Marcus Borg is professor emeritus in the philosophy department at Oregon State University where he held the Hundere Chair in Religion and Culture until his retirement in 2007. He was an active member of the Jesus Seminar and served as chair of the historical Jesus section of the Society of Biblical Literature. He is the author of nineteen books, including Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time and The Heart of Christianity. In his newest book, Putting Away Childish Things: A Tale of Modern Faith, he explores the important issues challenging Christians today.
