Candy Crowley is CNN’s chief political correspondent and anchor of the Sunday news program State of the Union. Based in the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau, she covers presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial races and major legislative developments on Capitol Hill. As a political correspondent, she has traveled to all 50 states, and since 1976, she has reported on all but one of the national political conventions. She was part of the Emmy and Peabody award-winning team that covered the 2006 midterm elections and the 2008 presidential election.
