About Larkin McPhee
Larkin McPhee is a Peabody and Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker whose newest PBS film, Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story, examines the consequences of current farming practices on soil loss, water pollution, and the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico. Her previous films have explored topics ranging from personal finance to nuclear power to the illness of depression. She has served on the staff of National Geographic Explorer, the PBS series NOVA, and Smithsonian World with David McCullough. She is a graduate of Middlebury College and lives in Minneapolis.
