About Thomas Friedman

Thomas Friedman is the chief diplomatic correspondent for The New York Times. He served as Bureau Chief in Beirut and Jerusalem from 1979 to 1988, and he won two Pulitzer Prizes for his reporting from the Middle East. His national bestseller, From Beirut to Jerusalem, offers a look at the modern Middle East and was the winner of the 1989 National Book Award for non-fiction.
