About Nathan Dungan
Nathan Dungan is a nationally recognized expert on family finances. He is the founder and president of Share Save Spend, which is committed to helping individuals and families align their money decisions with their values. He serves on the boards of the National Institute on Media and the Family, YouthCARE, and St. Olaf College. His book, Prodigal Sons and Material Girls: How Not to be Your Child’s ATM, offers advice to parents on raising financially savvy and responsible children. Despite the strong influence that advertising and the consumer-culture have on the spending habits of young people, he believes that parents still have enormous influence over what their children learn about money and how to use it.
