About Ellen Goodman
Ellen Goodman is an author, journalist, and Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist. Early in her career, she was a reporter for Newsweek and The Detroit Free Press before joining The Boston Globe as an associate editor. In 1976, her opinion column was syndicated by The Washington Post Writers Group, and in 1980, she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. A graduate of Radcliffe College, she was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, focusing on feminist issues and concerns, and a Shorenstein Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government.
