About Claire Gaudiani
Claire Gaudiani is the president of Connecticut College and an advocate for widespread public dialogue on building a civil society and global conscience. As a national leader in academic affairs, she challenges individuals and institutions to find new ways to promote civic virtue. She is a consultant to the National Endowment for the Humanities and to numerous foundations, colleges, and universities. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for Public Radio International, the American Council on Education, and the Council on Foreign Affairs.
