About Attallah Shabazz
Attallah Shabazz is the eldest of the six daughters of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. She has devoted much of her life to civil rights and the movement to overcome racism and oppression. In her speaking engagements, she hopes to motivate and inspire people to improve their self-concept by better understanding their own history, the world around them, and their place in it. With Yolanda King, the eldest child of Martin Luther King, Jr., she founded Nucleus, Inc., a touring theater company whose productions encourage audience members to overcome obstacles and shape their own destinies. In her presentation, she will focus on her father’s primary role as a loving husband and father.
