About Rajmohan Gandhi
Rajmohan Gandhi has built an international reputation as a spiritual leader in the tradition of his grandfather, Mohandas K. Gandhi. He is known in India as an author and journalist of depth and substance and a politician of courage and integrity. His open opposition to Emergency Rule brought him both a following and an arrest. As a peacemaker representing the Hindu faith, he joined Cardinal Sin of the Philippines and Inamullah Khan, the Secretary General of the World Muslim Congress, in bringing together leaders of the great faiths in Asia to reinforce the spiritual dimension of Asian development.
