About Mary McDonagh Murphy
Mary McDonagh Murphy is a writer, producer, and documentary filmmaker. For over 20 years,she produced Emmy-winning stories for 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, and Sunday Morning. She joins Kerri Miller, host of MPR’s Midmorning show, for a conversation on her new book Scout, Atticus, and Boo: A Celebration of Fifty Years of To Kill a Mockingbird. The book is a collection of interviews with dozens of prominent Americans, including Tom Brokaw, Wally Lamb, Anna Quindlen, and Oprah Winfrey, that explores the unique impact of the novel on their lives.
