David Eisenhower, grandson of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is Director of the Institute for Public Service at the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. A graduate of Amherst College, he holds a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School. He is the author of the award-winning book Eisenhower at War: 1943 – 1945, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in history in 1986. His new book, Going Home to Glory: A Memoir of Life with Dwight D. Eisenhower, is an account of his grandfather’s public and personal life after the presidency.

Candy Crowley is CNN’s chief political correspondent and anchor of the Sunday news program State of the Union. Based in the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau, she covers presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial races and major legislative developments on Capitol Hill. As a political correspondent, she has traveled to all 50 states, and since 1976, she has reported on all but one of the national political conventions. She was part of the Emmy and Peabody award-winning team that covered the 2006 midterm elections and the 2008 presidential election.

Mary McDonagh Murphy is a writer, producer, and documentary filmmaker. For over 20 years,she produced Emmy-winning stories for 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, and Sunday Morning. Ms. Murphy joins Kerri Miller, host of MPR’s Midmorning show, for a conversation on her new book Scout, Atticus, and Boo: A Celebration of Fifty Years of To Kill a Mockingbird. The book is a collection of interviews with dozens of prominent Americans – including Tom Brokaw, Wally Lamb, Anna Quindlen, and Oprah Winfrey – that explores the unique impact of the novel on their lives.
